“KOMUNIKASI POLITIK PRESIDEN JOKO WIDODO DALAM PEMBAGIAN SERTIFIKAT TANAH MELALUI INSTAGRAM @JOKOWI

Communication is one of the important things in conveying information, especially in the world of politics. In the modern era, social media has developed into a platform for that. One example is Instagram. Instagram was chosen because it is a social media that is actively used and popular among various groups ranging from young people to adults. The government provides information about the performance of the government with videos and pictures through the Instagram account @jokowi, which is the official account of President Joko Widodo. Joko Widodo as president has a main program, namely land certificates to avoid creating conflicts in the community due to land disputes. This thesis on "Komunikasi Politik Presiden Joko Widodo dalam Pembagian Sertifikat Tanah Melalui Instagram @jokowi" aims to analyze how President Joko Widodo's interaction with the community during the process of providing information about the distribution of land certificates on his Instagram account. This study used a qualitative descriptive method by observing and studying documents on the distribution of land certificates for the period of 4 January 2016 to 23 March 2019 in the @jokowi Instagram account, as well as interviews with the public regarding the benefits of information on social media. The results of this study describe the political communication process of President Joko Widodo when the process of distributing land certificates uploaded on Instagram @jokowi is one-way communication. That is the result of no direct interaction between President Joko Widodo and the community. This happens because of President Joko Widodo, as the political communication, actor does have a special team therefore not the President himself who provides information on the @jokowi Instagram account.
